After weeks of back and fourth, and a will they won’t they that would rival any rom com the B1G is back. The nerdy chick (B1G executives) and the dumb hot jock (B1G football) are going to the prom together. Even though the executives fought it the entire way they eventually gave in and decided “well damn, all the other big conferences are playing what the hell are we doing over here? Clearly we can still play.” And play they will, B1G will play football in the fall.

I don’t know what’s changed from the time the Big 10 decided to cancel the season to now, but I don’t really care. Big 10 football is back baby! Nebraska is still gonna be mediocre, Wisconsin might be good, Ohio State will roll the entire conference, the other teams will play, B1G is back!

Credit to the Nebraska Cornhuskers for leaking the story last night. The guys in Lincoln were never going to let the B1G executive nerds hold them back from playing football. If the season didn’t resume Nebraska probably would have just played a live scrimmage every Saturday and found a way to get it on live tv. There are two things you can’t take away from a dedicated Cornhusker and that’s corn and football. Nebraska fought hard for the season to be played and now they’ll have it.
